Welcome!
I’m MK (she/her), a mom of two kids after a long and winding fertility journey with my wife. While the path to growing my family was challenging, my postpartum periods felt like I had found a soft place to land. Nurtured by midwives, family, and friends, I was empowered during these complex yet tender times in my life. Through these experiences, I felt called into the work of postpartum care and want to support folks in a compassionate way as they journey into the postpartum period.
My career has been spent supporting youth and families in non-profits across Colorado. I’m a certified Postpartum Doula through CAPPA (Childbirth and Postpartum Professional Association), a certified Yoga instructor specializing in the child bearing years and I have my Red Cross CPR and first aid certification for babies, children and adults.

What Clients Have Shared
Land Acknowledgment
I honor and acknowledge that I live and work on the traditional and unceded territories and ancestral homelands of theTséstho’e (Cheyenne), hinono’eino’ biito’owu’(Arapaho), Núu-agha-tʉvʉ-pʉ̱ (Ute) and Očhéthi Šakówiŋ (Sioux) Nations. 48 contemporary Indigenous Tribes and Nations have historically called Colorado home and I recognize that these peoples are the original stewards of the land, water, plants, and animals that surround us.
Anti-Racist and Inclusion Statement
As a white woman I stand in solidarity with Black, Indigenous and People of Color. I also denounce systemic racism and injustices that negatively impact birthing People of Color in the United States who disproportionately experience adverse pregnancy outcomes, including maternal mortality. Historical legacies of institutionalized racism and bias have led to this crisis that can be prevented. I commit to listening to people of color, educating myself, acknowledging my own biases, speaking out against racial injustice and advocating from my place of privilege.
